Is it worth cleaning a very old or heavily soiled sofa?

We often see sofas that owners were ready to discard because of their appearance. After a deep industrial clean, the color often 'pops' back as the dulling layer of dust is removed. Even if a sofa is 10 years old, if the springs are good, a clean is 100% worth it.

However, we are always honest. If the fabric has 'thinning' spots or the sunlight has bleached the dye, cleaning will remove the dirt but won't fix the physical wear or color loss.
